Because he doesn't want his massive schlong to get caught up in the cassette. This is a lot like San Diego, with the rocks and all. I'll bring your pump this weekend Brian.

laurent11- For one it's flat, there's even some up hill, AND I'm on a well traveled XC trail so there might be someone coming the other way; there are a lot of blind corners. Also it was just a test to make sure I have the right angle on my camera so that when I am slaying a DH trail I can get it on video.
