LineCam- Glide Shuttle Shakedown
After a late night of assembling parts hot off the milling machine, I decided to venture over to Smith Rock State Park to capture some pictures and video of the Glide Shuttle's first day on the line. This compact, simple, and adaptable shuttle, is ready to roll.

does this one simply rely on gravity? how does it stop?

Yeah Brad, just gravity. Along with the angle of the line, you can also adjust speed with the speed adjuster that we will be releasing; it uses a small ball bearing wheel that applies force to the bottom of cable, causing resistance and slower speed. Stoping is done with some spiral cut foam rods. I used 2 pieces spaced one foot apart at the end of the cable. they work awesome! I'll post some pics of the foam.
