i dont reccomend tryin to do dh on your hardtail... cause shit like this happens. and you never do get down to that log ride you've been wanting to do. 1st time on the trail

 It's just that one root at the top that is impossible to get over. And hardtails are do able for DH/FR my buddy and i rode whistler, he was on his 04 Norco 250 with kenda krads and a single juicy seven in the back, and a shitt mechanical in the front. The only thing that was going for him was the 03 junior T lol

 lol its not that hard, ive ridden some dh on my stp when it had holy rollers on it and the dirt jams and only a rear brake, sketchy as anything but as long as youve got the strength to keep upright its pretty fun
