 I agree with you, but material isn't that expensive. A kilogram of titanium cost 70 dollars on ebay.

 I work in a bicycle store, and all I know is that when we buy a bike/part for 300$ from our supplier we sell it for 600$.

 thats fair enough though as you have to make a certain percentage of profit on any product that you're trying to sell

 That's not the point at all. How much does this machine cost? If you don't want to pay 200$ per spring then make one yourself when you buy this machine for 150,000$ Or whatever it costs.....
