As @tobster11 mentions above, this pedal is from a small initial batch made in 2010. Mk 2 has had no problems since. If you contact us we can sort out a set on warranty.

I run mine for Dirt and Slopestyle and I've had No issues or problem whatsoever...Must be DH!

You most likely have the MK2 vaults, these vaults in this video are MK1 are they where know for cracking! theres a photo on this page that shows you what the MK2 look like from the side singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/anyone-else-cracked-their-dmr-vaults
