Fujimi - October 2013
Five riders, three GoPro's, and one run. Good times shredding the trails at Fujimi.

Thanks mate! Yeah, this was quite a new challenge. I took two GoPro's. I wore my Hero 3 on the chesty mount (1080p @ 60fps). I also had my old GP mounted on a friends helmet shooting backwards. This was shooting 720p @ 60fps). We also had a this camera mounted on another friends helmet. All of the footage was shot on a single run, the last of the day.
I think it came out really well. It captured the elements of riding in a tight group, having fun and chasing the last of the daylight as the sun drops behind the mountain.
But, yeah it was quite a challenge editing three different POV, then putting it all together chronologically, so it all made sense. Plus, it was the first time I've used FCPX. All in all, I'm really happy with how it turned out.

It came out fantastic Mark!
When your mate fell that was cool how you pulled all the angles together!
Good work!
Fujimi is looking super fun, looks like they might have more jumps than before!
Multiple cameras are a challenge but the overall product comes out great.
What is FCPX is that for final cut pro?
Im just a regular iMovie guy, hahahahhahha
Once again good fun on the video mate!
I want to see more!
rideOn!

FCPX is Final Cut Pro X. I found it works really well for footage shot at a high frame rate, that you might want to render as slow-mo. The chipmunk getting hit in a previous video for example. But iMovie is great. I use it for most 30fps stuff, other than time-lapse where I use a variety of software depending what I am after.
And yeah, Fujimi has built quite a few new jumps and features into the C-course. I have heard it said on more than one occasion that the C-course is flowy and a lot of fun, where as the A-course is just fast. Each to their own, I guess.

Yes, I have found iMovie which only renders videos at 30fps to sort of glitch or jitter when going slower than 50% with 60fps. With 120fps on the new gopro it will go to 30% slower and stay smooth but at 25% it starts to jitter.
I usually film at 760 at 120fps or 60fps on the new gopro.
I need to looking into final cut pro!
It makes sense for how many edits I do!
However, the sales clerk at Apple said it would be too much for my laptop!
Do you have a desk top?
Next spring Im going to have to plan a trip to visit you lads.
Even if its just by myself!

One day I want to make it back, my last ride and only ride was with Buspilot!
RideOn!
