just over 3000 out of my price range then, making my own one the now, need a way to fix the skis down solid rather than some wooden planks that fall off very few minutes

I am going to make one too, luckily my schools cnc machining students do custom work with only the price of materials. Then I only need skis and i recommend that you dont buy cheap snow blades but try to find about 130-140cm wide and 95-100cm long skibike skis, trust me when I say that the skis are the most important part of the build. The lenz i ride in this vid has way too narrow skis, i`ve ridden a skibike with bullskate conversion kit and even thou it didn`t ride as well as the lenz it was much more stable at the take-offs.

 I meant 130mm-140mm wide

Right now it has two wooden planks on the bottom for proof of concept, maybe gonna get an old snowboard and cut that up and screw it onto the wood as that is solid for now, my school only does woodwork so my only metal moulding/casting experience is with a dremel...
