imo the 40 float rides better, that's my opinion though, dorado is also a very great fork, close 2nd behind fox

thanks man, to be honest i have not used the new float air 40s but i have used the first kashima fox 40's that was released on an intense m9 (my friends), i like the dorados much more, it is way better with the little bumps and still really plush and absorbs the big hits really really well. people sort of look over them because they look different (personally i love the way they look, really moto) but they feel so nice, and really blew my expectations out of the water. i can not speak for marzocchi because i have never tried them, but they are a bit better than fox 40's and way way better then boxxer wc's. keep in mind i am a light rider, and some people say that if you are getting upwards of 220 there is a little flex, but i am 150 and dont feel any at all.
