Until I use one of these myself I am far from convinced. The key to good drone footage is how smooth it is. If it crusies beautifully the footage looks amazing- but to me this just doesn't look refined enough. I'll be waiting a few years before investing.

And how much does that cost? I'm sure it's cheaper than a helicopter or a guy with an RC drone but it's got to be pretty expensive still. Awesome though, really awesome!

It's on kickstarter right now, and to get it you have to pledge a certain amount. For $600 you get the drone, a Giroptic 360 degrees mount, and a stabilizing 2D gimbal(to mount a gopro to). $900 is the approximate retail value when it goes into production.
