Great feature, but need to be able to draw straight lines. When one trail ends at point A, and another starts at point B, and point A and B are connected by a road that can be ridden, if the program won't automatically route along that road, need to be able to draw manual straight lines to get from point A to B.

I agree, very frustrating. Especially when you know there is a trail or dirt road there, and can even see it on the map.

I have been trying to work out a 100 km 'strava' race/ride for some time now, so this feature is great. At that distance on singletrack, elevation gains/losses add up to sore legs, so the feature alows me to try various routes . Thanks.....

Great work! I only missing one function. It would be nice if you can turn the "snap-to-route" function in and of. For us who lives in areas with not so many logged trails it would be nice to be able to plan a trip by free choice.
Is it possible to fix this or is the function there and I just can't find it?

@candaka is there a way to overlay route making with the heat maps overlay?
