Half Reclining Hero

Half reclining hero is an intense quad stretch. Start on your elbows and progress to the full version of the pose only when you feel ready.

 Thanks for your input @byorita. Certainly be careful not to put your body in any position that causes you pain. Yoga is a fairly slow process of systematically releasing tightness throughout your body and should never be rushed.

 i woulndt recommend doing this quad stretch.

adds too much torque to the knee whiel stretching them quads. if you want the rectus femoris stretch, i would suggest half kneeling + quad stretch.

 If half reclining hero is too intense a stretch, you can modify the pose @byorita. When your left foot is back by your hip, raise your right hip up on a blanket or cushion. Let me know if that is any better for you.
