Yeah it worked great. The elixir has enough power, just no fineness, so it occasionally locks up instead of slowing me down. Better to have those traits in the back instead of the front. Getting a new front tire also, the bontrager g5. Fun stuff!

Take a look at blueskycycling.com too and see if thay have decent tire for cheap. I know they have kenda nevegal's for like $30 and some other tires for cheap.

Thanks, I have nevegals already and I can't stand them. They do really well in the mud but are pretty bad for me on hard pack, especially compared to soft grippy dh tires lol. But I'll see what else they have
