Klunkin Whistler
Lars N' Bars hits up Whistler with his modified Klunker. Coaster brake purist will be horrified by this video with the addition of disc brakes but anybody who has shredded Whistler on an expensive full suspension DH bike will appreciate the ability to go full rigid.

absolutely the number one reason why it bugs the crap outta me people who trash talk X Y Z bike because it's not enough travel, too light, too heavy, wrong this, wrong that, not built tough enough... farkin' ride your bike and shut up.
if you got skills -- you can ride anything

years ago, we did a informal point to point race at Lake Fairfax.. day of, my normal mountain bike had something wrong with it, I forget what was wrong but, I couldn't use it for the race. I didn't want to take a new bike out so I just grabbed my fixed gear (road bike). yeah, that's right.. fixed gear --- one gear, no coasting option, skinny road tires.. We got there and start the race, 2 minutes into the race I got a flat tire... I fixed it as fast as I could..... then it started pouring cats N dogs....I started up again and boom, flat again about 3 minutes later.... SHIT!!!, now what? I was out of options cause that was my last tube and everyone was long gone. so I stretched the tube out and tied a knot where I thought the hole was -- it held air for about a 1/2 mile but pssssssT'd eventually...... I rode the rest of the race with a completely flat tire on the front wheel. it was getting dark and I didn't have any lights so I had to high-tail as best I could. I came in dead last of course but, just shit shits N giggles, I asked how far back I was. I was only about 2 minutes behind the pack.... my fussy math says, if I didn't get those two flats, I would have been up there in the lead pack not dead last. in short, shut up and ride
