That was wicked. I think we can make a couple of general conclusions there; 1) you don't need an absolutely up to date top spec bike to go fast, and 2) the size/fit/comfort of the bike makes a big difference, I think the lack of grip they were talking about on the ATX was due to the size too and not being able to place your weight effectively.
