God's Trail - Broken collarbone
Smashing down an 18% grade at 30mph hopping over waterbars back tire caught the top of one and i went OTB landed on the back of my shoulder and slid into the next one... With a mile left to go downhill I was on and off the bike ready to leave the damn thing behind! Managed to call my boss and tell him i would be late haha Then spent two hours in traffic in a Jeep with no doors on it :/

Two hours driving with a broken collarbone? Next time, just call an ambulance. They lift you out of there in a fraction of the time...

Yeah but with a hefty fee!! Besides all the hospital did was give me a sling and ibuprofen :\ and say come back for surgery..

Dislocated shoulder -> emergency transport, two days in hospital, multiple MRTs, surgery -> 70€... I'd never skip on insurance with a sport like this.
Hope at least your surgery went well! Collarbones are way too fragile for what we're doing.

Surgery went great! Shoulders feeling better.. I didn't even think about insurance covering the ambulance ride but either way it was bumper to bumper traffic both ways on a two-lane road with no shoulder going over the mountain ambulance wouldn't have been any faster maybe more comfortable but it still would have taken forever!
