 Maybe I'm just not getting the whole thing, but doesn't that mean that you'll put the rear shock in lockout mode if you want to put the seatpost down? It seems to me that the only time you can push the dropper lever is when it's already in locked mode.

 Pretty clever. Now I wonder if you could also take control of the fork with the same lever by hacking one of these cable doubler from Problem Solvers.

 I actually removed the parts that were already on the remote (it's based on a Twinloc) to control a fork so wouldn't be a problem. You wouldn't get a lockout though, just open mode and traction/trail mode.
