My first ride on 27.5" wheels. They were not too bad :)

"not too bad" Ends up being ten seconds faster than on the last mega

It was 5 seconds faster but I only started riding again this year after a couple of years off, only starting to get back up to speed a little bit now, still over braking and dont have the pedal power yet.
Rebound on the new Lyrik is nicer than the older one which helps with confidence too Smile

@betsie: What do you mean by the rebound, faster or smoother?

@Ellisjm: It is more controlled with the charger damper. You set the start stroke and the end stroke is internally set.
On the older fork it is rebound that you set so there is always a compromise with start stroke v end stroke. I like the start stroke fastish for small bump compliance (not too fast that the fork pushes wide in the corners) and the end stroke slower for more control from bigger hits.

@betsie: boooo! Im not a fan of air, if i could i would have a full coil set up and even though i cant set it up so it wont bottom out on massive hucks, i still have 400mm of travel in my arms

@Ellisjm: I was on all coil with my 26 setup and my Dh bike is all coil too.
Will be interesting to see how these air forks last in terms of between services. They did feel horrible on the roots up Sanquhar, but I have changed the settings completely since then including volume spacers removed.

The Canal is a flow trails, will be interesting once I try A1Ds or Gi or High Burnside when the snow has gone to see how they feel when its a little rougher.
