@codahale: Yeah. Do you find the grub screw stays nipped up when the flip chip is flush? The rattling loose (and making noise) is something I'm not too keen about. That's why I'm thinking if I could ride without the screw and just be mindful when removing the axel.

@ShreddingBliss: It doesn’t rattle at all, grub screw or no, because the chamfered side of the chip is compressed into the chainstay by the axle. It only rattles when the axle is out.
