Ive heard the people who are so serious and so focused never get hurt on those jumps because there so perfect if your determined you cant be hurt in that contest its just the thought of showing people what you can do and impress the pro's you just get this amazing adrenaline rush to push your self harder
because if you try hard enough you might ride with the pros one day. no one is born a pro they work for it. every thing depends on how far you want to go.
i wish i could get that.

dont fool your self everybody gets hurt. if you were there and watched the qualifying you'd know that people get hurt. i personaly know two people who are more dedicated than most bikers will ever be, and they both fell realllly hard on those jumps. anyone can work hard, and get really good.... but EVERYONE falls.

ya i guess people fall but if you ever watch some of those crazy bikers who are so into there game they fall and they get up again in like a split second for example Andrew lacondiguy fell hard at his second or third slope style competition crank works 06 i think people thought he was like seriously hurt of the back flip he pulled but he got back up and rode away. hes a monstrous mountain biker though but still its out there.
