goggles could have made it worse,just think if they broke,it would have pushed broken lense into his eye.

Yes I see where you are coming from but I think not breaking into the eye must be high on the priority list when designing goggles. I would be surprised if any goggles did go in someones eye.

ye maybe on a normal impact but it would have nowhere else to go but into his eye/face.
it shouldnt have been there in the first place,that would brake ribs ect even on a soft fall.
