 from what i was told "you should have the same width as the chain in space to move, top to bottom."
looks like your a bit over.
If you do it the way i stated, that means the chain has NO way of coming off, because it cant move far enough.

 take a link out or purchase a chain tensioner.

 you cant take out only 1 like link they come in pairs chain is way to lose you want it tight so cranks dont spin when you nofooter

 One link is two of the actual chain parts. Unless you have a half-link chain.

 get a shadow consperacy half link and put that in and take one ling out

 looks perfect, loose is better but not to the point where it might fall off. yours is fine
