First Look: WTB's HTZ E-Bike Wheels Are Designed For Toughness, Not Lightness
I guess having 20lbs more bike coming down than other riders create a need for 600g more wheel. Oh Ebikers….. you can save that 600g with a little more riding at least. ‍♂️

Pinkbike Poll: How Reliable Are Modern Mountain Bikes?
I was a DH racer for years! Rode hard and abused my bike to save seconds. I have ridden less and less travel bikes every time so get a new one. Now I’m in a Top Fuel. It’s amazing. It really capable riding DH… to a point. Landed several 6+foot drops and 10+ foot gaps. I did blow my fork improperly landing a small feature. My fault! I am truly impressed with what my little bike can do!

How many people build their bikes from the frame up as opposed to a stock bike on the floor of a shop? What brakes? Whatever is on the bike? What wheel? Whatever is on the bike??

Opinion: How True is the 'Dudes Who Shred' vs 'YouTubers' Meme?
Watching the latest Pro’s video getting lack lister I feel. Items amazing and cool, requires and shows more skill and courage than I will ever have. But, it’s really similar to their last video and is remarkably identical to any other pro’s video. Watching someone closer to my skill level on a bike I could even afford on trails I could find and ride I’d more exciting! Many pro’s vids are filmed on trails or features they’ve made just for that image, then destroyed. Who’s gonna go ride Gee’s ridge line run? I remember watching Kranked (1-10), I’ve ridden many of those trails! The Loam Ranger, yup, ridden where he has! Watching a pro is dreaming, watching a YouTube is realistically inspiring!

Video: ReTyre is a Modular Tyre That Lets You Zip on the Tread You Need
I helped test a couple sets of skins last summer on my mtn bike. They worked almost as well as advertised. They felt “squirmy” most of them time as I rode about. On the rd, the seam was noticeable as it rolled on the road. They were alright doing some light DH and worked fine for climbing. I’d rather have a few sets of tires if I need them, but in a unique pinch these were mostly a positive Experience.
