It is bad to have to much grease cause thats why you have to clean your hub all the time.... Grease + Dirt = Bad Time.
  • + 7
no. the only thing that makes sense in your comment was "Grease + Dirt = Bad Time."

if you have any proof as to how alot of grease is bad for your hub, let me know and i will stand corrected.

sorry to say but redshirtrider is right...grease is your friend you want grease in your bearing makes them much better. read my fourm on hub help ......

yeah but who wants grease on their driver teeth and i left a comment about that and he deleted it.
  • + 2
if you dont like the grease there you can just wipe it off. its not really hurting anything though.
  • - 1
im just arguing with the fact that you want it on your driver

Yes as you learned from the video your hub gets really dirty while "dirt jumping."
  • + 2

 thx man

contact or carb cleaner is a better idea then soap water because if you get water into "Sealed bearings it will mix with the grease and will deteriorate the old/new grease, other wise great vid
  • + 1
 thats a good idea thx...

due nice video but there is such a thing as to much grease you"ll get git and shit that will stick and f*ck up the internals
  • + 1
Good how to, doing the same process to my freecoaster Smile
  • - 2
not to be rude but your dont really have to put grease on the bearings because its just pointless
  • + 4
you're right, you dont NEED it, but it makes it a ton easier to pull apart afterwards. less friction = better (for the mostpart)
  • + 3
ya you don't have to but when you put it on the bearings they slide in and come out easier, it's just like greasing a bottom bracket when you put it in, the nbearings have seals so you can never really grease them unless you break the seal...
