Nice track, looks real steep. Andy's fucking fast for a hardtail.
  • + 1
i thought it was easier on a hardtail
  • + 1
full-suspension forgives you for any mistakes that you make, instead of coming off on a hardtail, sweet riding that track looks gnarly!
  • + 1
so its easier on a full sus then
  • + 0
yes, why would all the pro's do DH on full sus bikes if it was harder/slower ?
  • + 1
i was told that it was harder on a full sus cos they are heavier bikes. cheers
  • + 0
Then you were told wrong - You couldnt hit world cup style tracks on a hardtail without killing ur self - on the other hand Uk Bike Park holds nothing that a hardtail cant handle!
  • + 1
lenny your half wrong you probally would be able to do wc tracks with a hardtail but it would kill your ankles and would have a hard time getting down but someone like andy would find a way.
  • + 0
well you would not be able to get a respectable time not to mention the fact that you may have to walk some sections and crash a good few times. Take the Schladming course i dont think you could hit that on a hardtail even if you were as good as andy.
  • + 1
at Schladming you probally would be able to do it on a hardtail but you wouldnt get a good time but theres not to many rock gardens back then and if youve seen him much trust me youd realize

Well i have seen andy racing on numerous occasions and he is bloody good infact the best hardtail rider i have seen but i think if you were at somewhere like Schladming you would see that it is ruddy impossible on a hardtail!
  • + 1
wake up guys! andy is an amazing hartail rider, but we ride at UKBP and schladming is a WC track! completely different to our local
  • + 1
Thankyou calvin you couldent be more correct. Andy is truly a pinner but UK Bike Park is a begginer trail in comparisson to any WC or even NPS track!!
  • + 2
the last 6 comments have all just been agreeing with each other.
  • + 1
blah blah blah!! its not the bike its the rider
  • + 1
i know and the riders amense
  • + 0
Oh deffo, Ask Lenny-Twenny i ride hardtail fast, nothing to do with the ammount of suspension its how you move your body.
  • + 0
yes i think at somewhere like ukbp you can be faster on hardtail but i just think that harder WC trails would be easier on a full suss. I agree with ian tho its all about the rider!

nice filming justin, cant wait till this track opens on the next uplift Smile
  • + 0
i bet you can after last weeks crash on it
  • + 1

  • + 0
no shit same wid all the tracks there
  • + 0
wicked! im glad to see you have sorted that corner out now!
  • + 2
Cheers mate took me and Hamish a while to sort it out just a bit more building to do, add in some steps on the steep sections and sort out the finish a bit more and track should be all good, Andy and Rob timed it at the weekend 1.43 as it is now!
  • + 1
from the start of the 4x track? sounds good! bear in mind that rob and andy will be the fastest on that track !!
  • + 1
So where exactly does the track start out? Have they got a name for it yet. Cant wait to ride it!
  • + 1
starts at 4x no name yet but its harder than it looks
  • + 1
yeah i was up there 2 days ago and its bloddy off camber as heck. Is it the rd 5 track?
  • + 1
yes its the round 5 track. just to let everyone know the track will remain shut as work continues on the lower sections of track and will be officially opened on sunday 30th, in the meantime the only people that should be riding the track is the trail builders only!! Cheers guys
