honestly, urban downhills make me a little bit sad because it's never so abundantly obvious how big a pussy I am compared to DH's elite riders as during an urban downhill race.
Chileeeeee CTM (cochetumaaaa) hahahaha awesome race. South America is the perfect scenario for races like this, still DH racing but the adrenalin and the feeling you get is different from a normal DH race. The bike do take a beating though. Santos in Brazil, the urban DH circuit in Ecuador which doesn't get any attention but it's 3 urban races throughout the summer, Colombia has some, Peru has some DH races too. It's all good, the environment, the food, the people, the girls, the music, the vibe in general is great.
totally agree! you need to see the Bolivian urban DH course in La Paz, completly insane at 4000 meters above sea level.
In Valpo you need a 600mm handlebar to crossing between the crowd, poles and hand rails
The locals are looking at their infrastructure in a whole new way. Like, a wall used to be just a wall. Nope. Now it's a legitimate place to ride your rig.
Including how Rémy is running a pretty sweet ass bike with all his sponsors components being used, I think he's gonna kill it. Marcelo better prepare himself for competition
Can't wait for this year
Why not have one in la, ca?
Proly too many govt regs to jump thru....
