m xts are great ive done every bc cup and counless resort and shuttle days only bled em twice i also have avid rotors asweel dont know if that makes a difference tho
Capslock intentional. I apologize but yelling was necessary after hearing so much about torque specs and carbon, then spending countless sleepless nights debating myself about whether I should spend the $50 or not.
spend $50 on a wrench or on bars? Torque wrenches are priceless if you do any kind of mechanical work (in my opinion). Cars, motorcycles, bikes, boats, planes, etc. But its all a matter of opinion I guess. I torque everything. I have friends who just wrench it down till its tight enough for them to be happy. No one has died of a failed fastener yet in my group.
Replace those verniers with dial calipers and you can clear any zeroing error they have yourself. I have sent my 2 wrenches to Snap On, but it was $60 after shipping, each. For that cost, I can just buy a new one every year. But I dont build engines every year, so I could buy a wrench each time I am building a motor and it would be cheaper. But I take care of them. They stay in their cases, in the garage on a designated shelf at all times, I never drop them and NEVER let anyone besides myself use them.
Long way from home?!?! Kyle, these trails are in your hometown... you can literally ride to them from your front doorstep. Way to pin it though! Kill trail!
As long as you don't over torque carbon, it really is stronger than aluminum. Kyle didn't crash at all when we were shooting, but I can guarantee that these bars will hold up to as much abuse as you can put them through and more.
I just got the ENVE carbon dh bars. 800mm of awesomeness. Theyre only 245g so even though 5 in longer than my old c3 bars still lighter, sre the diety's pretty light? Becsuse they look like they would be prety comfy too.
