I filmed quite a bit of GoPro footage during 2012, so I wanted to make a video showing all my best footage! I mostly got downhill and freeriding footage and even a little bit of dirt jumping. The camera was either on my helmet or my chest mount or on my bike, there were a few times where I put the GoPro on someone else’s bike, Jason Roth was on the BMX and Mike Dekoning on the red hardtail.

I filmed all over the Fraser Valley and a lot of Whistler footage, and some Kamloops as well. I think I had about 10 hours of GoPro footage from 2012 to put together in this video. This video was 100% shot on a GoPro HD Hero 2. I wanted to make something comparable to GoPro’s official videos, what do you think?

The first song used in this video is called 'Friday Night Lights'.

The second song is called 'Feel It Now'.

Raw, real and respectable. Looks like you had a great year of riding some nice trails with good friends. This is what riding is all about.

This is a great edit, with a really feel-good vibe. I like the soundtrack! The triple barspin on the BMX was nicccccccceeee!

02:29 looks like a hole in the frame!

@mfbeast12 that was a 360 double tailwhip actually

I like it. It's actually fresh compared to some of the videos where people are trying to copy one another.

VERY nice work . I find it funny how people can sit back on a computer and say no work was put into the video. People must not realize what its like to edit im assuming . Seriously 10 hours of footage to fit in 6 minutes is lots of work, besides the cuts and edits you have to make sure it flows with the music too . Until you can provide better footage then SHUT THE FUK UP , thanks.

Now where the real hard work that was put in was the riding and if you cant seem to agree on that well then, you should prob delete your profile and sell your bike .

Again , great riding and video work man ! Keep it up and fuk the haters on here . By the way, i LOVE how you did everything on a single crown , says that much more about your riding . Smile

I ride Whistler on a 2004 Rocky Mountain RM7. The bike that keeps on giving.

"Check out a regular user's season via his POV camera in places like Whistler, Kamloops and the Fraser Valler in B.C." Yeah right... A regular user that can throw 360 whips. I wish I was just a regular user. Nice vid!

lol well that wasn't me actually, that was Jason Roth, as it said in the write up part. I wish I could do that though, everything was me except the BMX and the red hardtail, and one shot of the sx trail on the road, other wise it was all me

I follow this guy on YouTube. Nice videos - creative concepts too. Never thought one could be that creative when it comes to POV vids. He made a 'Bike Video Game' concept on one of his vids. Good job. Not a fan of his bikes though - but I guess they work well considering he shreds 'em trails.

Ya I saw that video game vid a while ago. Cool concept and great riding in that vid and this one. Keep it up

I usually can't stand helmet/ chest mount only videos. But this video was definitely an exception! The editing was spot on and the riding was spectacular. I really enjoyed how you were constantly changing bikes, seasons and trails but kept it smooth and real! Great video!

Great vid man! I love a filmmaker who can shred! All the best for 2013, keep these up....

great riding, great trails & proof that you dont need to have a mega bucks bike, sponsors and expensive camera equipment to make a great vid.

I liked it, to be honest im not really a fan of POV videos, but i got into it as it simply made me want to ride, and when you have ridden some of the places, makes it even better...had to rewind @4.47 just to tell what the hell was going on, lol...
Nice work man!

Like boostmaster said above, it was a 360 double tailwhip by me: JasonRoth, wish we couldve gotten another angle so it would be easier to tell what was going on. but it was still awsome

Here is a video of the same trick. 360 double tailwhip - better view.

I think the clip is made more incredible by trying to work out what's going on.... the world is spinning, the bike is spinning.... and then a pair of feet appear on the pedals a split second before landing! One of the best bits IMO.

Great edit, awesome riding.I hope that on day I come to visit Whisler too. Here is how we enjoy the riding in Ireland. Maybe there's not much bike park riding but most natural trails. And We like it.

any reason why you wear your sisters jeans when you ride your bmx? Sweet riding and sweet edit though !
  • 2 0
Not my sisters jeans, just guy jeans but skinnies. i wear tight pants because i dont like the feeling of a baggier jean while i ride, i feel sloppy and loose and alot of the time my pants near my ankle will get caught in my chainwheel (Sprocket) so tight pants prevent that from happening. People have different preferences when then ride and thats mine.
