I feel like this would be a really cool event to add to DH racing, separate heats, 1v1, winner advances. different inside and outside lines to choose and varying jumps, could be sweet guys.

I was thinking about this the other day. You would just tape a slalom course down a steep wood and remove all the bushes inside the tape, leaving the rocks and roots bare.

More than a dual-slalom, it could be more like a Toge race, where if you can stay at a certain distance/time from your leading opponent then you win. Then you swap places, and it is on again.

Rode this trail last year, also this summer in the sun and the rain, some new great improvements. It's got every surface to ride, great to hit with your mates. Comes out on the road, then it's a short pedal to the mountain train. Or go past that and hit a great pub on the roundabout in the town of Bourg st Maurice. Also in Les Arc there's the cashettes DH track, worth checking out for sure if you're out there.

That was an inch from a group crash at 1:37 and my favourite type of landing at 3:05. I would fave the video to watch it again in the future if it wasn't the soundtrack. It is probably the choice of the riders, but we all have different tastes.
