AMI Purchases Bike Mag, Dew Tour, & Other Sports/Adventure Titles
Dirt Rag forever!!! I look forward to every issue. It's a no bullshit straight up MTB culture gem. They always show up at Biketoberfest and Sea Otter and keep the vibe easy. I've got 25+ years of issues in the guest room book shelf. Freehub is a great magazine as well. One can only hope they have as good a run as Dirt Rag...

Mark Weir Hospitalized Following 'Widow Maker' Heart Scare
Wow! That could have been the end of him. I guess his super-super human status is now just super human status. Glad his spirits are up. Betting on a fabulous recovery for him.

Video: The Ultimate Vintage GT Bike Collector
Among the four GTs in my garage I have a Lighting that GT gave me when I cracked my Corrado. Folks always think it’s a Xizang and I have seen another one. Best customer service upgrade ever!

New Shoes From Shimano & Apparel From Dakine - Interbike 2018
Where I primarily ride sticks and twigs get caught in any kind of ratchet system and jam them so it's hard to get the shoes off after riding. I really like my Shimano AM 45 which are laced with a Velcro attached cover. A bonus is that the laces don't get covered with poison oak tannins (which I also ride through). They offer great protection but are a tad bid wide which hinders rotation/release from clipless pedals, and they are HEAVY. I would love more covered lace options. There aren't too many out there.
