Pinkbike Poll - How Many Days Did You Ride in 2016?
I ride everyday on singletrack with a few exceptions. Really bad weather, a few sick days, etc.. So about 340 days this year and I have a full time job:)

NO, just NO. I value my skill with a mountain bike and knowing when and how to shift is one of those skills. How about a chain that lasts longer and doesn't need to be lubed instead!

@Voreis: On this we agree! The sad thing is that skidding is the slower way down the track. The only time you see WC DH dude skidding is when they screw up. I love Bend and may move there some day. The last time I was there I separated my shoulder shredding the Whoops trail:( Hope you do another Trail Pimpn' vid. That is my all time favorite. Your no music only bike sound NDW 10 segment is also on my top ten list. @Voreis: You are right that I don't know the the trail was used for races and that would change my opinion. But that does kind of prove my point. It is the appearance of what is happening that legitimizes this behavior when it is not appropriate. If this was an obvious bike park I would not have even said anything. So, not saying what you and Chris did was technically bad, but it appears that is to people without all these details. This thread has been voted off the Island so it is just us now:)

@Voreis: I get it that you give to local trail building and maintenance and that's cool. But.. not everyone understands this nor do they have knowledge about local trail conditions in Bend. What is seen on the surface is 2 dudes tearing up the trails and it legitimizes this bad trail etiquette. Look at it from this perspective when you shoot your next vid, Getting beyond this criticism, I do think both you guys are great!
P.S I help run a trail group in NM and I'm directing a workday this Sunday. So, no lip service here:)
