Jan 28, 2024Trek/Gary Fisher Superfly 100 rear end stays only
$100 CADThis is the rear end from what I think is a 2012 or so Trek and/or Gary Fisher Superfly 100 frame. There was an issue with the front triangle but the rear end is in great shape. Both components appear to be full carbon and includes some extra hardware like main pivot bolt and upper swing link. No dropouts but they are standard ABP.
I'd love to help somebody revive their old ride! Message with any questions.

Bike Check: Auckland Cycle Works' "Kind of Like a Rearward Pivot URT" Experimental Prototypes
I guess most of y'all are too young to remember that Giant actually made a prototype VPP/URT/pull-shock mashup for John Tomac in 1996. The internet seems to have totally forgotten about it short of this one pic that unfortunately has a sketchy looking URL. The second (more reputable looking) link is the article it is from if you scroll just past halfway down.

Poll: Once and For All, How Much Should a Mountain Bike Weigh?
@ajaxwalker: damn you are right....imagine if they made formed dirt courses in like a stadium or arena or something and had races or jump competitions on motorized bikes? It would be like nothing the world has ever seen before! We could call it.....Electro-cross.......or maybe.......Lithium Circus

Robot Bike Co R160 Custom - Review
Looks like something Tomac, Ned, or Herbold were riding in 1992.
