Over the past 3-4 years I've stumbled into somewhat of a ritual, and I'm over joyed that I have. When the clocks go back, the British summer (very loose term) ends and everything gets even more depressing weather wise, I always seem to find myself sat on a sleazy jet flight to Malaga. It's not that it rains more at home over the winter, but more that the hope of it stopping disappears. It's for this reason that Spain comes out on top every year.
Malaga and the surrounding area are up there with the best places to go if you like riding bikes, cheap booze and have a strong dislike for rain. There are a few different companies down there, but the one I have been with for the last 2 years are
RoostDH. It's key to have someone who knows the local area with you, the tracks are plentiful and varied, but they are all hidden, secret for the most part and not the kind of tracks you will find by just asking about.
Once you have chosen your company/guide comes the heart of the holiday, the reason you went. the riding!

It's worth spending £500 going down there for a month over getting those new wheels. Shit wheels will still allow you to have a great week, good wheels on your local tracks won't be as much fun, I can guarantee you that!
