its nice to actually be able to say THIS WAS PRETTY RAD. freaking KHS blocked me so i cant say a thing on anything they upload and im a stones throw from these trails. props to the riders and the production.

I don't want to go to fontana to race my MOUNTAIN BIKE. I want to go to the MOUNTAINS not the city, unless its a sick urban downhill.. I don't want to race on the otherside of peoples backyard fences. And I don't want the suburbs as my backdrop. I refuse to ever go. Plus there is only a minute of downhill. Don't get me wrong the one minute sections do look fun but I would never put it on my racing destination list.

Thats a very negative look at the race series. When there are absolutely zero races going on, and these are held often, and ran very very well, it offers a whole lot of fun for the locals. The sprint at the bottom separates the shuttle bums and those who actually train. Many friendships and riding buddies have been made in Fontana. Its too bad you will never get that opportunity.

I think the race series is awesome for you guys. Like I said it looks fun but I would never travel to race in someones backyard. Even if I lived there I wouldn't race fontana, I'd save my money and travel to Bootleg for some real downhill, super d and ds.
