“Over the past four race seasons the 8 inch travel dw-link Sunday downhill bike has proven itself to be among the most dominant and sought-after bikes in the mountain world. With a pedigree that includes world championships, world cup victories, national championships, US open championships, and countless other wins on national, regional and local levels, the Sunday has become the face of downhill racing by putting a world cup level, works-type machine into the hands of the fans and riders themselves.”
This bike has been helitaped (super strong clear tape to stop scratches) in all the necessary places and been kept in amazing condition, being washed, oiled and re-greased after every ride. There are no dents however inevitably it has a few small scratches, all highlighted in pictures.
• The brakes have just been bled
• Forks just had full service with fresh oil
• Forks had lower lube service every few rides
• New bearings in July
• Shock been serviced in March and July
• Fresh grease in bottom bracket and headset bearings in September
• Forks also had compression shim altered to stop the compression spike and 2 spacers glued under top cap in air chamber to stop the forks wallowing in the midstroke (this is what Hill, Fairclough etc did), this significantly improved performance as can run the forks more supple.
• Forks just been sent of to loco tuning for a service, bushings resized and new bump stops.
The Velcro patches are just stuck on for my head camera and can be taken off if you want as can the stickers. I will also give you a spare set of pads. I am a relatively light rider and this bike has not been used much for a year old bike. The grips have been on the whole time and as you can see they are in great condition which shows the bike has had little use.
I am asking £2100 which is a very good price for such an amazing bike that has been looked after so well, especially considering it is a £4599.99 bike and has had about £1000 worth of upgrades, but I am open to offers. If you have any questions or want pictures of anything specific then just ask.
