As well as showing off the frame building shop, Paul will be displaying the 1888 Whippet he's building for the North American Handbuilt Show (NAHBS) Mar. 2-4. The Whippet should be 85% complete by the day of the open house.
The open house is from 5-8pm Thursday, Feb 9th at the UFV Aerospace Center:
UFV Aerospace Centre 30645 Firecat Avenue. Abottsford Airport
If you're looking at the Tradex Building, it's a 5 min walk to the LEFT.
money is a factor, but if you take the time to contact bike companies they will tell you tube sizes and what not, a lot of those parts do not have to be bought off expensive frame building sites, rather discount online metal sites for way cheaper!
That's a good point, taking that element out makes it a little easier to see the frame. I still think the rear wheel has travel in concert with the lower headtube and fork. Check this out www.brodiebikes.com/blog/?p=2283 some shots of the linkage.
great question, I think the post is missing some KEY information- EDIT thursday feb 9th-tomorrow- the date is listed in the header on the pinkbike home page
