The UCI set the parameters that a trans rider need a testosterone level below 10 nmol/L.
The problem I have with that is the common accepted levels for testosterone in a biological female are between 0.5 and 2.5.
Say Rachel has a level of 2.5, should she not be able to take testosterone to get her to 9?
A common male testosterone range is 9-30.

@brianpark: Except at this level its not "just bikes" its business, prize money and livelihoods. When entering into competition with an undeniable physical, biological advantage is that advantage not "unfair"?

Neck Braces - Should You Be Wearing One?
How many riders have suffered severe spinal injury with a neck brace on? How many have suffered severe spinal injury without one?
When your doctor tears up over how close you were to being disabled the gravity of the matter hits hard. Trust me and my doctors when I say a neck brace saved ME.
I encourage everyone to form their own opinion but please do so with education and caution rather than a narrow minded, know it all attitude. I'd hate to have wound up in a chair due to arrogance and a she'll be right attitude.
