2022 Pinkbike Awards: Performance of the Year Nominees

What Mathew did was absolutely incredible, especially at 17, but I'm not sure it fits this category. Everyone else nominated, was nominated for a specific performance. Also kind of off stage, getting to races, rather than on stage, actual racing where his best result was a 10th. Definitely should be an award for this but I don't think this is the right one.

Results: Lošinj DH World Cup 2018

@piersgritten: Actually Finn won 6 of 7 races and was first overall by quite a bit in Junior. 2 years in a row. His 3rd split yesterday had him around 12th fastest but he apparently clipped a stump with his pedal. you can see the crash at the beginning of the live feed.

Pinkbike Poll: Favorite Downhill Rider and Race of 2017

Finn Iles. Most WC wins in 2017, most in 2016/17 combined, won VDS back to back, won in Andorra, MSA and until World Champs had never been worse than 2nd as a junior in any race. Also won Crankworx NZ, France and Whistler. Times compare really well to the elites
