Rocky Mountain Says Farewell & Thank You to Andréane 'ALN' Lanthier Nadeau
@chriskneeland: All I’m saying is it’s not like they have a throttle. You just have a higher average speed for however hard you are pedaling..I hammer just as hard as I used to. Btw I’m not advocating for ebike racing, I just think it’s dumb when people act like you just sit on one and they do all the work for you. Yea it’s easier to get up super steep stuff but you still have to put in the effort.

Rocky Mountain Says Farewell & Thank You to Andréane 'ALN' Lanthier Nadeau
@chriskneeland: I rode from 2001-2021 on a regular bike at a fairly high level and did well over 10kft of climbing a week on a 30lb 160mm bike for many years and am still very fit. Don't need you to tell me what a mountain biker is. When you have 3 kids and not much time to ride its nice to be able to do your old rides in half the time. Plus half the time I'm towing my 11year old behind me on the climbs.

@KennyWatson: Have you ridden an ebike? I pedal just as hard as I used to on my regular bike, you just go faster.

Opinion: Do We Need Size-Specific Chainstays?
My ebike has 470mm chainstays with a 479mm reach. (probably closer to 470 reach now that I put a longer fork and 29" front wheel on it). Aside from being hard to manual it is super stable and corners really well. I like the feeling of being centered in the bike.

Mondraker Launch Full Range of MTBs and eMTBs for Kids
@plyawn: I use my ebike to tow my 11 year old to the top every weekend. Guaranteed he's faster on the way down than 90% of the people hating on ebikes on pinkbike also. I used to do between 10-15K feet of climbing a week on a regular enduro bike for years, have the same amount of fun now on my ebike and I either get to bring my kid along or do it in half the time since I have two other kids waiting at home. I stopped riding for a few years when my second and third kid were born since I couldn't spend so many hours a week riding. Now I can do the same amount of riding in way less time and I pedal just as hard, I just go faster.

Commencal Release Ramones Kids Bike Collection
My son just went to a 27.5 hardtail but he ripped his 20 & 24" ramones. Put an old fox fork on his 24" and it worked well until he blew up the rear wheel finally. https://www.pinkbike.com/photo/25108297/ https://www.pinkbike.com/photo/23589517/
