I am glad you guys are giving GoPro some competition, but so far GoPro really has the edge; especially now that the 3D GoPro has hit. But this VOD was good regardless, a few more actual POV shots would be better. Any camera can get outside the action but what makes these cameras special is that you can get in the action.

Thanks Sheeshkah. We get a lot of mixed feedback on more POV vs. less POV so we try to mix it up a bit. What we're really trying to show is what the camera can do, whether you use it for POV or as a lone camera doing lots of different angles and shots.

Seems way better quality than the video posted of Cam Zink last week, could that be related to recording settings etc. Good contrast, good quality, no stuttery, washy looking video. Looking way better Contour.

that's because they are using different cameras for most of the video. if you look at the POV stuff, it's quality isn't as good as the rest of it. not to say the quality isn't still good, it's just that most of the video isn't filmed with the contour cameras.

Actually- this video is pretty much all Contour. We used a jib w/ a Contour mounted for almost every single shot. There are a couple shots that are pointing back at the drop in that were shot from a long lens, but everything is is all Contour.

ya it really varies from video to video. If you go watch the Rampage footage from Contour its better looking than most GoPro footage ive seen. Then some videos look terrible like Zinks. Must be down to camera set-up.

it's the samething as the HD but there is a gps in it and when ur watching the vid it tells u where u have been, at wast time u where there and things like that
