What parking lot do you start at and how do you get to the trail. Also, in some other vids i saw jumps aand other manmade features out of wood

theres the parking lot used by skiers during this time of year that was featured in the video. if your facing up the canyon though there is a smaller parking lot used for hikers and bikers. I belive its called temple quarry trail head. or somthing like that. and yes there are some man made structures hidden about.

What is the SLC area like for riding? Looking into going to school out there, but cant find much on local riding. Lots of trails, or not really?

You will not be disappointed. There's a slew of freeride/dh trails (most are shuttle-able) within 45 mins of my house in east central slc plus there's like 3 rad DJ zones and XC all along the wasatch front. Canyons bike park is expanding, Moab is 4 hours away, Teton Pass trails are 5 hours away. Utah is the shit, bottom line. Only problem is snow covers everything 4 months of the year

dude i agree with ya 100% , after school i ride my trail bike up lil cotty canyon, and slay the trails especialy the one you showed in your footage. no doubt utah has one of the best terrains in the biking spectrum.

How high up the canyon? I know there's still a few a little lower up the canyon. To bad... Screw usfs.
