Some of the footage used here was used already in another video, but I felt like it should be put the way it was envisioned from the start and with the song that I thought to use at the time.
Song: Sunday Girl - Four Floors (Diplo Remix)
Hope you will enjoy this and maybe in the future will get to make more mountain biking videos.
As my project Days Of Our Lives was moving on, with Ryan's and Marcel's part finished, I went on to film with a few others and it included Grant, aka Chopper. I met Grant when I was filming with Ryan at Lym. Before that I was stoked on his part in New World Disorder and I didn't really say much on that day, because was kind of overwhelmed I suppose with actually meeting such a high caliber rider. Grant was super friendly though and down to earth. I've written to him about this project and he thought it was cool. Couple of weeks later we went down filming.
We went down to film some of his local trails, which are like 10 minute bike ride. Got some good footage, crashed at his place. Thank you and Rosie for the hospitality, really felt welcome and your home is lovely!! Oh and congratulations on the expansion in the family!!
The next day we went on filming some other trails. We had like 2 more sessions down at Lym and with Ryan at 4a. We needed some more dirt footage for the video to be finished, but that didn't happen because of the camera issue.
I've been craving to film some mountain biking for quite a while. Watching videos on the web makes me pumped to film and make some videos. I was then browsing through some of the old materials that I took before and stumbled upon this bit.

Dude, somehow you have managed to capture how I experience ´riding Bikes´.
Not that I am close to beeing as skilled as Grant. Yet, your video, its mellow vibe, the colors and the music alltogether renember me of just that mood I experience while riding. Biking is the essence of the person I am, the single greatest influence in my life. Everything I do, I do to enable myself to ride bikes. And although I compete in downhill, I consider myself a Freerider.
I thought that you, as an artist, might be happy to hear that your art achieved to really move someone.

What they didnt show was him hitting a tree and his clothes flying off then he hit some more of the trail and went back for his clothes and continues to another part of the trail.
No it's a short little tracsk in some woods by lordswood in Southampton. I ride them a lot, been built up a lot more since
It always seems like nobody respects bikers, they don't see how much work is put into the trails. People get mad at me when I build my own trail, cuz with the jumps on the trail, they can't walk through...but if we're building our own trail I think they shouldn't be allowed to take them down...the walkers have tons of other trails to walk on, and we have almost nothing. Also, the logers take things down too, which I don't like ether, but know that that's there job and that they don't have a choice....
Most of the dog walkers, fire marshalls etc. are fine with us building and riding it's just standard for the FC to level everything from time to time.
