The Escape

Each town in British Columbia seems to offer better singletrack than the last one visited. To prove what’s out there Dave Roth and Seb Kemp cycled, on mountain bikes, from Whistler around the Strait of Georgia, stopping in Squamish, the Sunshine Coast, Powell River, Cumberland, Hornby Island, Parksville, Duncan and Saturna Island.

Is there ever sunshine in Canada? (Of course I am kidding). Looks like an excellent trip! I could definitely pick up and ride away. What is the end credit music?

Amazing edit guys. Its cool to see people roughing it out to go riding. Im shure anybody could afford that trip; you don't have to stay in some fancy resort at Whistler to go ride some epic trails. look around, you'l be suprised at the number of places to ride around you that you can explore.

Would love to see a series of these two on tv (pos sky 419). Amazing to see two mates with so much dedication in every pedal. The best biking filming short I've ever seen! These two show a wonderful example of what can accomplished on bikes.

Wow, that was a Incredible Video. Makes me want to take a trip where I live in Idaho, just to check the trails, and meet such Awesome people on the way. What a rewarding experience that is. Hats off to you guys.Seb, hope to see this in the mag, take half of it. Thanks Guy.

Beautiful video guys. Even watched the credits. Times like those you never forget, well at least till you're old and can't remember who your wife is. It might be grey a lot of the time on the west coast but our winters are so mild. Literally only had two weeks this year where we just didn't want to go out but it's so easy to ride all year round.

I just watched this video again. It made my heart pitter patter as I'll be returning to the coast in 18 days... It could also be the redbull I just drank.

Much as we'd have loved to ride in Nanaimo, unfortunately our schedule was just a little too tight. That's ok, though, now we have a reason to go back!

If you plan on coming hit the Nanaimo mountain bike club face book page. Plenty of us could take you on a guided tour. Big Grin
