 i wish i could give you a billion positives for that. XC is way underrated and its rather sad because its really fun!!

 Sometimes uci xc looks boring, and Olympic. But this and B.C. Bike race look like a blast. Marathon xc is cool.

 even xc world cups look like a lot of fun, can't wait to get an xc bike and start racing

 Whether you like to cal it XC or Enduro or just simply riding a bike it is all the same thing. Some of us love to climb while others are purely climbing for the downhill that awaits them at the top. These kind of events show the common appreciation and simplicity of a two wheeled machined which manages to put a smile on everyone's face regardless of weather or trail conditions. It is satisfactory because you set a goal for yourself and the drive to accomplish that goal keeps you coming back for more.

I enjoy doing xc rides (although some hills are a bitch climbing on my downhill bike) just as much as I enjoy shuttle days or lift riding, the main point is getting on your bike and doing something you love with friends.

 I sold my XC bike a couple years ago. It was the biggest mistake ever. I didn't realize just how fun that bike was until I couldn't ride it anymore. I miss that thing so much.
