Dragging this thread back from the grave
Here is my recent re-build on one of my older bikes.
26" 2013 commencal meta SL
I had to get a new (meta SX) chainstay assembly as I discovered a crack in the original one. I stripped the paint and got the frame resprayed in candy red. I then made some new decals and fitted some invisiframe before building back up with good condition used and some new parts.

My 2021 Meta HT AM Ride with upgraded 180mm Lyrik Ultimate and 180mm OneUp Dropper. Tad bit extreme, but it's what I had and honestly it still climbs great.

I call her "the hamburglar" and she absolutely rips.

What size is that?
It looks like it has pretty lond seat tube.

I'm playing with the thought of buying/building an older 26" fully in some small size as a park bike for my kid.
New children's fullys are crazy expensive but still way to heavy for around the house or for local woods, so a normal ht is still mandatory which makes everything an über expensive sport. Especially if you have more kids

Most probably I will never again own a HT again, but that doesn't mean that I don't want one. Just like this one.

its a Large size frame and total bike weighs just over 13kg but may be a bit tall in this size for a kid. for reference im 6ft and use a 150mm dropper on it.

Time to brag:
This is my new Meta TR 29. Had two long rides in the first two days on this bike, and I absolutely love it. Coming from a 160mm fully enduro oriented rig, I was a bit hesitant that it might feel insufficient, but it's absolutely NOT lacking in any department. Beautiful and delicious machine.
