I've always loved the concept of videos. As a kid, I vividly remember watching videos and getting psyched to go out and try something I wasn't yet capable of doing. Either on a bike, a snowboard, or being silly with friends. To potentially create something that holds the same power to inspire others is a gift. Not only that but being able to preserve my memories in a visual storyboard is awesome.

Two years ago I decided to dedicate myself to becoming a better filmer. It has truly been an incredible 2 years. This video is less of a demo reel as it is my own personal montage of the good times.

Being able to look back at such experiences makes me truly grateful for all the beautiful parts of my life!

 @Spoof: Hey man. I'm shooting on a Sony FS700 with 3 Canon L series lenses. My drone is a DJI mavic, nothing crazy.

I've one question : I plan to buy a new camera or DSLR to do filmaking and sports video. Coming from a 7D it was not easy with manual focus, so i think to buy a 5D Mark 4. The AF in video looks awesome and precise but the video quality looks ok not the highest quality.
Would you go with the 5D Mark 4 for video?

 @Spoof: haha yah I just meant the drone is nothing crazy. I actually learnt on a 7D. 5D's are sick though. Coastal uses a 5D for quite a few of their videos. Also a 5D is more expensive than an FS700. It's definitly more about knowing how to use the gear and finding what's right for you.

 Some really good videography mixed in with some good random variety shots that could have detracted from the theme, but for some reason I did not mind them at all. I actually think it was much better because of the cat, bear, surfing, skating, etc. Kept me interested and engaged. Well done!

 Nice - been off the bike (and skis, and board) for a few weeks with a low back thing. Good stuff like this makes for excellent rehab motivation (and attitude adjustment).
