Rumor seems to always have it that the jumps are going to get plowed at some point... Hopefully this isn't the last Post Sea Otter Jam, if so it was a damn good one with BBQ, beer garden and a great crew.
yeah it's just photo stereotyping - it's not like we enslaved them and now we taboo-piercingly call them cotton pickers... that would be racist. teasing at how they take photos isn't racist.
Did we forget who built the railroads on the west coast? The Chinese were slaves in the United States too, you know. So yes, you did enslave them, you stupid piece of shit. and while you don't call them cotton pickers, there are a plethora of other shitty words that you people use freely without remorse, and then expect it to be ok. it's no wonder the Chinese tattoos you frat boys get all translate roughly to "no dignity" or "entitled a-hole". That always makes my day
Not that living in Taipei makes me an authority, but the peace sign selfie is well joked about among the locals here. As with most healthy societies, they are capable of recognizing and laughing at their own peculiarities.
maybe when i dont work 40+ hours a week or when im not studying for university. also, that involves a lot of effort and people, and where I live not many people actually want to build or help build jumps
i was just thinking the same. OK, I understand, that probably most riders in North America, who follow these riders more closely in some way, understand these nicknames. I am, however, having trouble keeping record who R-Dog, T-Mac and other omg-so-awesome-nicknames stand for.
