I think we should start a campaign against people who use iPads outside like its normal.

bigburd (Jun 4, 2013 at 6:23)

jeff444 (Jun 4, 2013 at 8:42)

sampo18 (Jun 4, 2013 at 9:12)

no they are pointless technology, pay for a tablet then buy a keyboard to make a laptop..... oh...sent from my laptop in my back garden.

21

SWenduro (Jun 4, 2013 at 9:17)

jeff444 (Jun 4, 2013 at 9:36)

Sorry no keyboard here Dino boy!

118

sampo18 (Jun 4, 2013 at 9:40)

must be struggling to balance that 10" tablet whilst my 15" laptop with faster processor and larger keyboard balance perfectly on my lap! sorry my better technology must still mean I'm a dinosaur.
p.s this cost less than your iPad and can do more, faster

love dino boy.

denis-biker-lol (Jun 4, 2013 at 10:11)

The guy with the iPad is Ian Warby, a coach from firecrestMTB.com He records his riders with his iPad, then can instantly play the footage back to them, pause it and annotate the footage to highlight any mistakes or areas they can improve -

www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=410482005680020&set=a.341503512577870.76208.341479425913612&type=1&theater

It's pretty impressive to watch and is just one of the many ways he helps to develop young riders talents. But other than that, yes, most people look pretty dumb recording anything with an iPad.

mackanator (Jun 4, 2013 at 12:36)

Already bought helmet mount for my tablet. I'm sure riders will enjoy my watching free Netflix while they follow me

30

zakfreeridefreek (Jun 5, 2013 at 3:07)

XD Hahaha that would be funny as hell

10

jeff444 (Jun 5, 2013 at 13:38)

Not really my iPad was a gift from my work and I guarantee its faster. And my Internet is flawless not like all the whiners sayin that sites video player is no good when really its the laptop not getting the Internet feed. But ya I don't have a hard drive or flash player. But hey I have a laptop for that stuff lol

10

karaknic (Jun 4, 2013 at 21:37)

Looks like Adam Brayton might have been taking it at 4:03 in the race ?

100

raybao FL (Jun 4, 2013 at 8:15)

Really stoked for Adam Brayton winning this one... dude is incredible on the bike, but has been hampered by injuries in recent years.

30

ValidUsername (Jun 4, 2013 at 15:18)

Couldn't agree more dude, he's been putting in a lot of graft to get where he is. He is reasonably local to where I live, and everyone loves him! He's a qualified electrician too...just in case you gave a shit

30

stevevstheworld (Jun 4, 2013 at 9:17)

I can only guess that Sam Hill bought the weird kangaroo thing over as the new team mascot. Plus if this is dusty the you lot aint been to Big Bear recently. I miss riding in the UK, where they have mud and trees and stuff, not dust and jagged rocks with rattle snakes in them .

50

phatone17 (Jun 4, 2013 at 8:33)

LOL @ Sam Hill's line. What a baller

40

Gooldylocks (Jun 4, 2013 at 10:42)

I was laughing out loud all alone in my apartment like a crazy person. Gotta love Sam.

10

powermutant (Jun 6, 2013 at 3:15)

40

bikounet (Jun 4, 2013 at 9:11)

10

bikounet (Jun 6, 2013 at 10:01)

what did I make a mistake? "He makes some progress though" maybe? Sounds better to me anyway...

p.s, heard he was in Intensive Care

30

bryanmckinlay (Jun 4, 2013 at 8:36)

I've heard that it didn't end up as a broken neck but that's the only information I could get. Best wishes to the wee guy!

10
