I know you've all seen this before, but damn it's a hot looking paint job on this rig!

The 951 is one of the top privateer rigs.

O'Connor's Yeti 303 Team bike is WC prepped for the season.

Hand built by Tom Ritchey, this P-29er was nostalgic.

Ibis Mojo SL-R, different from your new camera and way cooler!

If you've been wondering where the Fogelsodes have been lately, this picture should help you ease your worries. Jack will be back on his bike in a few week's time.
photo
The POC Trabec trail helmet is visually my favorite looking helmet these days - just so clean!
photo
Sticking to the above blue theme, this Cannondale Jekyll is also really trail ready, just ask Weir.

Which came first, Boobar or the Boobar?
photo
Prototype products are always in abundance at the Otter, this Manitou Tower 29er fork was no exception. 140mm travel, tapered steerer and a 20mm axle have it raising the right brows and many hoping to see it hit production soon.

This little guy has the right idea and if having Mark Weir as your father is any indication, I put money on him being a shredder in no time!

This is probably hard to believe, but there is more to come, so stay tuned!

Stay tuned for more from Sea Otter!

Too bad we don't all carry $6000 in cash on us all the time, otherwise we'd all be riding new bikes

Make an Iron Horse Sunday worse and you have a KHS, make an Iron Horse Sunday better and you have a dw-DHR. Its kind of sad that they are even suggested as equals. One ride on the dw-DHR (I rode one at Crsankworx and was blown away) changes a lot of perceptions. Pretty snazzy paintjob on the KHS for a Taiwan catalog bike. How people buy into this kind hype is beyond me. I thought the internet was making people buying bikes smarter!

I want to see some more of those small time bike companies with their prototypes and offerings. How about some shots of the One Ghost line up?

From all of Daves FB posts, his bikes are getting mega media attention.

 thought i'd seen the KHS frame somewhere before;

Not dissing it at all as there are alot of firms that do similar.

looks quite tasty.

SWEET!!! i'm still in love with the turner DHR

Its the first time Ive seen it but Im loving the DHR suspension design. I havent seen that type of linkage before and its speaking to me. BIG TIME, BIG TIME!
  • 3 0
Its the DW link. Same link as Iron Horse was using a few years ago. Its nothing new but it looks sooooo sick.
  • 1 0
I rode one at crankwerx, it was super nice.
  • 1 0
isn't it 2 different linkage systems on ironhorse and the DHR? I thought that dave weagle designed a new 4 bar link system for turner, after ironhorse went down. (going from memory, i havn't seen an ironhorse in a while)
  • 1 0
DHR is dw-link it's just a newer version

Probably a dumb question, but can someone tell me why the intense/x fusion bikes have a bunch of random and sticker-less forks?
  • 1 0
because x-fusion doesn't make a dh fork yet so the riders use whichever fork they want, minus the stickers
  • 1 0
X fusion does not make a downhill fork yet so they do not want to promote for a brand they don't ride for
  • 1 0
 thanks, that makes sense.

The green-yellow M9 is soooooo HOT!!!! And the Yeti as well, i just love this company!

So was that the Banshee 29'r proto that Tower fork is on?

Anyone know what the story with the 951's dropouts are?
Wheres the G3 system?
  • 1 0
I know they got rid of the g3 dropout system on the 951s, im not sure why though. On Intense's website id just says something to the effect of "featuring a new dropout system, and rear swing arm reminiscent of its older brother M9"
  • 1 0
The 951 was the top rig last year. It is now the cheaper option, so good by adjustable drop out etc.

I love the Ritchey P29er. The original was a bit before my time. But that one looks bad ass.

It's too bad Jekylls aren't available until June.

951 in orange looks fucking braw. I almost regret opting for a Sunn Radical instead this season.

SO is KHS using Maestro suspension now? I can see the bottom linkage(if any) but it sure looks like maestro.
