Confirmed: Cannondale's New Downhill Bike Has 2 Shocks
In the vid they mention that the frame can be run with a single combined shock in the lower position or a separated damper spring combo. Will be interesting to see it this is an option on the production bike.

UCI Threatens to Impose 'Disciplinary Measures' on Licensed Riders Who Compete in FIM eMTB Series
The driving force behind the fim having this will be money making. Especially with luongo, or whoever it’s spelt being involved. If it doesn’t make him money it will soon be dropped.

Review: Specialized Stumpjumper EVO 29
Had one of the original evo stumps and it was awesome dh but going up could have really done with a set of forks you could reduced the travel on as the front end used to flop all over the shop on technical climbs. Sold it because of that in the end. Sounds like this one has improved on the climbing

Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay 70 - eMTB Review
Rode an ebike for 5 minutes the other day. It was a Carreras Vulcan about a £1k bike in the U.K. And a mate who's has just been diagnosed with some heart problems had bought it. Id never ridden an ebike before after 5 minutes was grinning like a Cheshire Cat, it was major fun. No way am I likely to go and buy one any time soon but I won't be knocking anyone for getting one, especially if it keeps them in the game. Unless of course I'm riding with them under my own power.

Yamaha to Launch Their Own eMTB Lineup
Have never ridden an ebike but would probably enjoy it but I'm really fed up with them getting rammed down our throats by an industry that pretends it's not about making money. The pushing of the ebikes seems to have surpassed 29ers, 27.5 and boost combined and maybe a lot of the hate is due to this. If I'm right in the uk they are limited to 250w over this and I think they would be classed as a moped, as they have pedals. Over 250w and no cranks and pedals and they are effectively a motor bike.
