Northern BC is a vast pristine wilderness that covers an area larger than California. The land is rich in natural resources and brimming with wildlife. Whether for work or play, life here is closely connected to the land. Mountain biking is a natural fit with this region and explains why more people are discovering just how good it is up North!

Seeing "mountain biking lives here" is a breathe of fresh air (and envy), awesome to see mtb embraced and providing a vehicle for tourism and local revenue. This resonates with me in NorCal where the opposite is true.

Agreed. Santa Cruz COULD be HUGE in terms of a MTB destination location. Instead, riders are criminals.

Yep. I cringe thinking about what would happen if the trails I ride showed up on a map. Strava is bad enough.

I know Australians have a bit of a bad name around Whistler, but could I please come and live in Canada?
promise I won't drink too much (and when I do I won't throw things at people) and every sunday I'll cook all the bacon you want.

Damn stunning part of the world !
